Our history

From compassion
to lasting care.

After the First Congo War, members of the United Pentecostal Maranatha Church began caring for orphaned children in Bukavu. Shelter and nourishment grew into a school and health clinics.

Today, Maranatha’s work also includes fishing and agricultural development to help sustain the community.
